Time Warner Cable Digital Home Phone Service Voicemail Feature

Tuesday, December 28th, 2010

Time Warner Cable offers voicemail with their digital home phone service. Unlike standard answering machines voicemail can record an incoming caller’s message while you are one another call.
Time Warner Cable voicemail does not require any additional equipment as it already included in the digital home phone system service.

Voicemail is accessed from your phone directly by dialing *98 and a password or pin is not required. Similar to mobile device voicemails you may also call into your voicemail messages from another phone, convenient if you are away traveling.

There is an additional monthly cost for the voicemail feature but it does include some additional features.
Voicemail prompts are available in English or Spanish to further service a larger demographic of Time Warner Cable customers. You may record personalized greetings that may last up to 120 seconds and the message may be changed at any time and you are able to change the personalized greetings an unlimited amount of times.

The voicemail allows an approximate 40 minutes of messages and features allow you to save, erase or replay messages with ease. If you accidently erase a message, it too may be easily retrieved. The voicemail capabilities also extend to include the ability to rewind messages.

Customers should be aware that Time Warner Digital Home Phone packages do not include standby power capabilities and in the event of a power outage standard features may not be available. This limitation also includes the ability to dial 911 or other emergency personnel. (more…)
