Currently customers are not able to keep their existing phone number when signing up for use of the magicJack. The telephone number through magicJack also will not be added to the telephone directory and customers do not have the option to add it. The magicJack connection time is comparable to that of a traditional phone call from a landline. When placing calls to other magicJack users, the connection time is much faster. magicJack was named PC Magazine Editorís Choice in January of 2008 and the 2009 Product of the Year by TMC Communications Solutions.

eltonk: Magicjack scam is not really a scam it works jsut not like an old school copper line phone. You need to have internet first off and then it needs to be fast.

Jackson: I just recieved my phone bill with a texas LD provider charge of $41.40 for an 18 min call that supposedly came collect to me from an untracable number? the only number I have there is my daughters & she doesn't call collect. UAE: I work in the UAE where magicjack is blocked but by using VPN I make it work and I am able to call my Family and relatives in US and Canada.. No product is that perfect but for $50 per year it's not a bad deal at all..

rachel: I treid to use skype actually and it was so confusing. i had to buy a special phone it was a nightmare! Magic jack i just use my regular (expensive) wireless phone set and plug it in. It is much much easier! and cheaper i think.
Rey Rodriguez: 2 things to say 1 for those of you that say it breaks up calls or cant hear ? thats your internet connection . if your internet is slow you will have drop calls or poor quality. i have great service and works perfect with correct internet 2 for the price with one year service it beats skype and i use it in alot of different countrys perfect if you have a lov one over seas. simple give them a magic jack program a us # and call you love ones for free all the time
Randy: If you have a good Internet connection and a good computer, it works perfectly. For best results, stop other internet applications while calling.
William Sumrall: Used MagicJack for 7 months and it is great. Sound quality much better than my land line. When 'porting' of land line available, I'll be saying 'so long' to big phone companies and do just fine with MagicJack plus cellphone - also will have an extra $600 in pocket at end of year.
